IRAN-TIMES : CROSS SHOOTINGS OF MEDIA BOMBS

Two days ago, the Times published an undated Iranian document, without any heading or signature, stating that Iran disposed of a sophisticated atomic bomb. We noticed then it was a frame-up from Tehran because it would just have needed to notify the document’s characteristics to deny those allegations. Our analysis was right because 24 hours after it forgot to deny the Times’ allegations, Tehran announced the successful shooting of a long-range missile ; announce which is completely in line with its anti-appeasement strategy.

IRAN : THE WEEK IN IMAGES N°95

The last week’s main event was the celebration on the 7 December the celebration of the Student Day : the regime hoped for a great national mobilization under the Green banner so as to give the necessary legitimacy to this so-called opposition which is openly hostile to any compromise with the West. Iranians were sensitive to our analysis and despite the regime’s international campaign, its televisions or its friend countries, Iranians stayed at home and urged the regime and its sponsors to cheat on images and offer us a festival of rough mistakes.

Iran : Ebadi rewards a defender of the sharia

At the moment that Obama received his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, the former recipient of the prize, Shirin Ebadi, attributed her Human Rights Defender of the Year Prize to Ayatollah Montazeri. Montazeri was one of Khomeini’s first lieutenants and a partisan of an Islamic state based on the Sharia. This political choice was completely occulted by the Western press. | Deciphering |

Iran : Toward a nuanced change of nuclear policy-off

Tehran hoped for dragging United States into some acute crisis as it announced in a provocative way the building of 10 new additional nuclear enrichment centres in order to urge the United States to make a step backward for fear of a conflict. Under Bush, we would have assisted in some escalation but presently nothing happened. Obama didn’t make any big statement : he mentioned the possibility to reinforce sanctions right before he called for the dialogue’s continuation in parallel with the sanctions that are already implemented. Such reaction cast a chill over the provocative ardours of the mullahs who find it difficult to make the right answer. Are they so disappointed to the point of renouncing to their policy of deliberate provocations ? To know it, it’s necessary to review the background history of the chaotic relations between Tehran and Washington.

IRAN-USA : MORE THREATS THAN SANCTIONS

Two days ago in Washington, Turkey announced it was opposed to new UNO sanctions against Tehran. Yesterday Europe informed it would remain careful in the field of UNO sanctions although it mentioned last summer it was ready to adopt at last unilateral sanctions, i.e. out of UNO support, such as it was required by Washington. The absence of any forcible reaction from the United States to this series of withdrawals confirms its implicit approval.

Iran : Mussavi, the lonely leader

In order to block every negotiation with the Six, the mullahs’ regime imagined the Green Movement, a so-called popular opposition that would contest the legitimacy of the person that is responsible for negotiating, i.e. Ahmadinejad. Because out of this protest the Green Movement doesn’t display any social claim, it doesn’t succeed in mobilizing Iranians. The latter were again missing from its latest gathering which according to the received videos counted 3,000 persons in Tehran, 50 in Tabriz, 12 in Esfahan and 20 in Rasht. Failing any crowd that would at last give some physical reality to this script, Tehran spread rumors of massive arrests of green militants and as well the news of the detention of Mussavi, one of the both leaders of this puppet movement.

Iran : Obama’s throbbing chant and the doormats

Yesterday in Washington, the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan, whose country sieges in the Security Council until end 2010, expressed his opposition to newer sanctions on Iran. Obama announced that he had failed to convince Erdogan of the necessity of newer sanctions that he had promised for the beginning of 2010 in case of a diplomatic failure of a nuclear agreement. The argument is faulty, for he had promised American unilateral sanctions for which he needs no authorisation from an allied country. Washington is looking for excuses. | Deciphering |

Iran and the West : BBC’s false allegations

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – Feb 2, 2009 | According to the French media, the documentary “Iran and the West ” that will be aired tonight on the French channel France 3 is a moment of truth and veracity. We watched it in its original version [1] on YouTube, and we think the contrary : All the facts are reversed, and the chronology shuffled to permit this manipulation in which the Islamic Revolution, Khomeini and even Ahmadinejad are given a new virginity !

Iran-confidential : Massive lay-off

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – March 17, 2009 | Recently, media told about the collective lay-off of 2,000 employees of an important Iranian company. Those employees had at least two months-wages unpaid that are lost for ever because of this lay-off. Such process is very common under the mullahs’ regime.

Iran : A kurdish sacrified on the altar of mullahs’ realpolitik

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – November 12, 2009 | On Wednesday 11 November at daybreak, the mullahs’ regime executed the Kurdish militant Ehsan Fattahian in the central prison of the provincial capital of Sanandaj because of his affiliation to an armed group. We found some implausible elements into his indictment case file and this makes us fear of some political operation.

Iran : The dissension between the Basij and the power

One month ago, we reported the absence of Basij militia cadets, those young people who are responsible for national security, into the regime’s official demonstrations. As days went by, clues were amassed which denoted some awkwardness between the power and those young people not only inside the Basij itself but also into other armed branches. The regime confirmed our hypothesis by relieving of their post battalions of young people who were in charge of urban security.

Iran : The legitimate fear over a gasoline embargo

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – September 8, 2009 | Despite the fact that Iran is one of the world’s largest oil producers, it does not have the capacity of refining enough oil for its internal needs. That is why an embargo on gasoline is considered as one of the most efficient ways to put pressure on the regime. In response to an American menace of sanctions against Western suppliers, Tehran announced the signature of an agreement on petrol imports from Venezuela.

Iran : Shishi’s misfortune

The Western media is crying a river for Shirin Ebadi : The Mullahs confiscated her Nobel Peace Prize medal and diploma and maybe even the just below one million Euro grant that accompanied her Nobelization. At the time when the regime continues to apply the most barbaric laws in Iran, the one who should be denouncing them is crying for her assets !

Iran : The week in images n°93

The Week in images is a true golden opportunity for us. It shows the Islamic Republic without its slogan pack and pompous statements and reminds us it’s getting weaker and weaker. This week for example, the regime celebrated the creation of the Bassij militia which is reputed to count at least 10 millions of members. We didn’t see them demonstrating in the streets. Modestly the regime claimed a gathering of 60,000 militiamen in a prayer room that can hold 10,000 people. Actually they were less than 5,000, mainly old people and not those young fellows who are supposed to defend the regime. This week, Tehran needed also to deploy hundreds of planes and missiles but we didn’t see them either.

Middle East : Where the U.S. treads, democracy does not spread

The Nobel Institute discerned its Peace Prize this year to the American President Barack Obama. This decision greatly surprised for Obama has not achieved any considerable results in world peace since in office. The Nobel’s move was then attributed to the hope that Obama’s election has risen in the world and as an encouragement in his future actions for world peace.

Iran : Obama is at the limit of absurdity

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – September 22, 2009 | The President of the Mullahs is awaited in New York in view of his speech on peace and respect between nations at the General Assembly of the United Nations. Washington was hoping that Ahmadinejad would profit from this opportunity and resume direct talks with them, but Tehran refused. In riposte the U.S. pulled out its usual menaces : A possible Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities and the threat of further sanctions. Washington however to a further step towards appeasement made the incredible vow of “shooting down any Israeli aircraft using Iraqi airspace to attack Iran.” This promise came from Zbigniew Brzezinski, a super Czar of the American diplomacy, and personal advisor to Obama, a man extremely well listened in Iran. This announcement has nothing to do with Israel but with Brzezinski’s doctrine on Central Asia followed for the past 33 years by all the American Presidents.

Iran : Deceitful poll !

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – September 21, 2009 | According to an American polling institute a large majority of Iranians judge Ahmadinejad as a legitimate President and the regime as ideal. Meanwhile, these same Iranians are opposed to Iran’s refusal to re-establish diplomatic relations with the United States ! The illogical results of this poll reflects the fact that it is not a scientific poll, extremely difficult to do in Iran for a foreign institute, but propaganda destined to Americans in order to justify the Obama administration wants to abandon sanctions against Tehran and continue the dialogue.

Iran : The Six are pushing the mullahs into refusing their offer

Last October, in order to escape newer American sanctions, the Mullah regime accepted a compromise project, first offered by Americans last April, of an exchange of their low-enriched uranium stocks against higher enriched nuclear fuel rods supplied by France and Russia. The Mullahs had an explicit tactical retreat, for when the Americans suspended their project of new sanctions Tehran started taking specific actions to sink the agreement. Without clearly refusing the offer, in fear of sanctions, Tehran pointed out a series of clauses they wanted changed knowing that their claims were unacceptable by the Six. Since, Tehran announces on a daily basis newer demands and the next day the contrary.

Iran : Missile without a launcher !

The Mullah regime seems to be extremely reactive towards our website. Following our short article of Monday November 23 on the authenticity of the announcements on military maneuvers by Iran, Colonel Hadji-zadeh, Commander of the Air Force, denied that the military exercises were a “bluff” and the Mehr and Fars press agencies published on Tuesday November 24 photos of the missile launches of these past days. The photographs deserve a closer look.

Iran : The latest maneuvers exasperate the army !

A midst an ongoing conflict with the West and Russia’s refusal to supply the sophisticated DCA S-300 system, Tehran announced that it was leading defence exercises in preparation of an eventual nuclear, bacteriological, or chemical attack against its nuclear installations and to demonstrate its military power despite the absence of the S-300 anti-missiles.

Iran : The Shah and the iranian nuclear project

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – October 1st, 2009 | Three years ago the amount of French investments in Iran totalled at 35 billion dollars. France often tops the list of Iran’s commercial partners. France thus, shows a certain resistance to apply adopted sanctions on Iran, and develops a slight complacent attitude towards the Mullah regime. There is a continuous effort to find excuses for the Mullahs’ acts, including the nuclear issue. That is why the French press often associates the actual Iranian nuclear program with the Shah of Iran.

Iran : An improbable revision of U.S. Intelligence Report of 2007

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – October 17, 2009 | In November 2007, in view of facilitating a dialogue with Tehran to reach an entente, Washington had their Secret Services publish a report announcing that Tehran had ceased its nuclear research program in 2003 ! The National Intelligence Estimate of 2007 had led to the freeze of newer sanctions on Tehran. Now that the Mullahs are refusing an appeasement with Washington, the Obama Administration has announced that it might consider reviewing this report.

Iran : Saving time

Last April, Washington proposed an exchange program of uranium against Franco-Russian fuel rods for the first time to the Mullahs. It also mentioned the possibility of an embargo on refined oil, a new idea that would put great pressure on Iranians and therefore provoke a possible popular uprising.

Iran : An IAEA invention : the dilatory report !

The latest IAEA report on Iranian nuclear activities is focused on Iran’s second uranium enrichment facility in construction in Fordo near the holy city of Qom. It is affirmed that due to the facility’s limited size, it will not have the capacity to produce the necessary quantity of nuclear fuel for an energy plant, but the necessary amount of enriched uranium to produce one or two nuclear warheads per year.

Iran : An unprecedented deadlock

Not more than a year ago, in an effort to prevent a positive outcome to the secret talks between Tehran and Washington, Moscow would use unexplained delays in the Bouchehr nuclear plant delivery as a lever to dissuade Tehran to continue in the discussions. Tehran always backed out to save the plant. Now allied to Washington since the abandon of the U.S. anti-missile project in Eastern Europe, Moscow reused the Bouchehr lever but this time to encourage Tehran to continue the dialogue with the Americans. For the first time Tehran did not back out. | Understanding the Russian miss |

Iran : Obama goes one more round

During the last weeks without going as far as refusing the American offer of a uranium stock exchange for Franco-Russian fuel rods, Tehran has questioned every single clause of the agreement : the quantity of uranium to be exchanged, the supplying countries and even the exchange solutions. Washington having conceived this agreement in order to reach an entente with Tehran continues to pretend that Tehran has not rejected its plan de facto.

Iran : U.S. on the verge of serious sanctions

The media is boiling with the news of the FBI seizing Iranian assets in America. Assets previously blocked in December 2008 by the Bush Administration. Obama is merely dazzling the public opinion in order to mask the fact that he refuses to adopt heavier sanctions against the Mullahs.

Iran : the nuclear crisis degenerated into political crisis

On the 18th November, Ali Larijani, a life member of the Expediency Discernment Council -an organism that is responsible for the regime’s political management- became the target of Iranian media’s attacks because he appeared disrespectful to a certain Kutchak-Zadeh, an insignificant deputy. The attacks may solely come from another member of this plenipotentiary council we can consider as the moonlighting cabinet of the mullahs’ regime. It was a harsh week for Larijani because on the 22nd November, his former lieutenant, Ali Kordan, died of a cerebral haemorrhage due to a fulgurating liver cancer that set in a week ago. From then, Larijani distinguished himself as a great admirer of Rafsanjani, the founder and the life head of the Expediency Discernment Council. | Decoding of a true State affair, maybe the most important of this current year ! |

IRAN, PAKISTAN AND THEIR CARING AMERICAN FRIENDS

These last few days, all those for whom the Mullahs’ regime is a regional necessity, a useful factor for the American supremacy in the Middle East and Central Asia, have spoken out to affirm the absolute necessity to pursue the dialogue with Tehran. The two most significant interventions came from Bush, the number one decider in the US, and from Brzezinski the designer of the re-islamization of the regime under democratic pretexts.

Iran : Great manipulation of western internet users

After some mobilization of Western media, the new general procurer of Tehran, Abbas Jaffari Doulatabadi, announced the release of 3 of the 4 journalists who were arrested yesterday at the demonstrations of the 30th anniversary of the capture of the United States’ embassy in Tehran. He specified that he was still detaining a Danish citizen who didn’t have any press card and also the Iranian Farhad Puladi “in order to verify his link with the AFP !”

Iran-USA : Time for decisions

As Obama recalled this week, the United States wants an entente with the Mullahs. The purpose of this entente being the territorial and political control of Central Asia, in order to put a lock on the region’s natural resources highly important to the Russian and Chinese economies. In exchange for this decisive entente the Mullahs demand the lift of sanctions against the Hezbollah and the abandon of the U.S. requirement of their demilitarization in order to maintain their threat on Israel as a levy in case of a later discord with Washington. This demand being unacceptable, Washington is leading a strategy of intimidations, economic sanctions and regional destabilization combined with regular offers to resume dialogue. Washington led actions this week that perfectly illustrate the different shades of their strategy.

Iran : A profound mistrust for the West

Two days after the regime’s near-negative response to the “uranium against fuel rods” offer, several Iranian MPs stated their preference for no compromise. However, they kept away from officialising their position, remaining ambiguous on Iran’s response, a typical mark of the mullah diplomacy.

Iran : A little riding lesson on mullah back

Following the mullahs’ negative response to the P5+1 appeasement offer, we should have seen strong reactions from the latter. Instead, IAEA has gone dumb, President Sarkozy who in the past had been an advocate of further sanctions is silent, as are the British, Germans and Russians. As usual, the Chinese make no public statements. However, The Americans are talkative : In the past 24 hours they have expressed their opinion several times in different and contradictory statements. No panic : it’s calculated.

Iran : A very offensive response

It was due October 23, and Tehran just handed in their response to the P5+1 (U.S, France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and China) proposal on an exchange of enriched uranium against fuel rods for a research reactor to the IAEA. According to our sources, the response is an open war declaration, so unacceptable that the UN agency is embarrassed to divulge its content. The P5+1 have gone into mute mode. In order to temporize they have instead turned their attention towards Ahmadinejad’s speech of the day by analyzing it as a prelude to an agreement. In order to achieve this analysis, they have slightly censored the speech. | Revelations and comments on a deadlock |

Iran : A turkish sandwich in Tehran

The Turkish Prime Minister, Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan, is in Tehran. Before his arrival, he took a very hard line on the pet hates of the mullahs : Israel, France, Sarkozy. From his arrival, he expressed his support to the mullah’s right for nuclear enrichment. He also criticized the 5 greats which have nuclear bombs and prevent others from having it. Since two days, the man to whom Obama expressed his support to enter Europe became a clone of Ahmadinejad without necessarily triggering any critics against the White House. He is obviously on a recommended assignment. But what is the secret message of this speech ?

Iran-Israel : Neither Dialogue nor Appeasement

Iran : The shattered dream of the Algiers Agreement

© IRAN-RESIST.ORG – December 27, 2007 | It is only in 1973 that OPEC created by the Shah of Iran in 1960 became an affluent actor of the oil market. Therefore, all those who contributed in reinforcing the influence of OPEC became targets. King Faisal of Saudi Arabia was shot at arm’s end in his office in 1975 and the Shah was the victim of a revolution conceived in Washington. They accused him of having modernised Iran and wanting to make Iran and island of stability : The Shah’s achievements are disappearing one after the other.

Iran : France, an excuse to refuse appeasement

On October 1st, during the resumption of the dialogue with the P5+1, Tehran accepted to cooperate on two points, the first point being the exchange of its low enriched uranium stock against fuel rods for its medical research reactor. France and Russia were to supply Iran with the rods. At the meeting scheduled to put down the basis of this exchange, Iran deliberately blocked the appeasement process by refusing any dialogue with France.

Iran : Washington strikes the Pasdaran via the Jundallah

More than 30 commanders of the Pasdaran, including the vice-commander of the ground forces of the militia and 9 tribal chiefs were killed in a terrorist bomb attack in the Sistan-Baluchistan region of Iran. The armed terrorist group Jundullah has claimed the attack. This group regularly carries out attacks in the region from the Pakistani border. Tehran has accused the United States of carrying out the attack.

Iran : Khamenei’s death, a rumour that lacks of imagination

Since last Tuesday evening, a rumour goes around on the net : websites of Iranian opponents state that the Supreme Guide Ali Khamenei would have died after a 24 hours coma. Iran-Obama : Ayatollah Shirin Ebadi’s famous last words ?

The 2003 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Shirin Ebadi, has been nicknamed Ayatollah Ebadi by Iranians for her speech is always in line with Tehran’s policies : Iran’s right to uranium enrichment, support of Hamas, demands to put an end to sanctions linked to the nuclear issue, etc. Her latest announcements do not derogate from this trend : At the moment that Tehran is forced despite its wishes into a dialogue with Obama, Ayatollah Shirin Ebadi has asked the American President from abstaining from a dialogue with the Mullahs in denunciation of the violations of human rights in Iran.

Iran : Westerners are trying to create a distraction

One week ago, the Iranian news was about the mullahs’ questioning of their Geneva commitments and the fact that this didn’t give rise to any negative response from the Six. Western media thus covered up this information by filling in the gap with a phoney rumor about “Ahmadinejad’s Jewishness”. Presently Iranian news is still the same but this time we keep the lectors busy with the case of “Fariba Pajooh, the translator of the Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo in Iran” who was unjustly arrested by the regime because of her support to the Green Movement.

Iran : The mullah’s road map

Iran : More enrichment to make the Six hopeless

Yesterday morning, before the beginning of the G20 Summit, Obama, Sarkozy and Brown denounced all together the secret building of some second enrichment plant in Iran. Every of them stated they knew about such construction but they were disturbed by the fact such information were disclosed by the mullahs’ regime itself ! The Six attempted to minimize this new stratagem which was made by Tehran to make the dialogue derail.

Iran : Big slaps at the UNO

On the beginning of the week, Americans and their allies implied they would adopt already with Russia’s support a new resolution and why not sanctions at the time of the extraordinary meeting of the Security Council in the margin of the UNO General Assembly. This was highly improbable because Tehran would have withdrawn then its 1st October Geneva meeting. Besides Tehran didn’t comment much those rumors. The Council met and even didn’t talk about Iran. As revenge it adopted a resolution that won’t favor Tehran’s business : “the establishment of a denuclearized world”.

Iran : A spectacular reversal thanks to the US !

In order to avoid any gesture of appeasement without laying itself opened to sanctions because of some lack of cooperation, Tehran had the idea to offer an off-board dialogue in order to urge Americans to slam the negotiation door behind. Right after it refused without getting angry, Washington accepted this dialogue in order to commit Tehran into an appeasement process. Tehran is panicking, mullahs doesn’t want anymore to use their own solution !

Iran : EUROSTAT Report puts iranian economy in the red

In order to push Iran to halt their nuclear activities, the United States imposed financial and commercial sanction on Iran in September 2006. The sanctions have heavily penalised the Iranian economy. In the absence of a riposte, they also proved that Iran has very little nuisance capacities. To resist to the sanctions, Tehran has created a network of lobbies acting mostly in Europe in order to maintain some economic havens for their trades. The Iranian lobbying has been a failure, for the statistics regarding Iranian exchanges with Europe in 2008 and 2009 are alarmingly low.
