Public letter to Mrs. Condoleezza Rice

Avoid helping these false heroes who demobilize !

Following Ms Condoleezza Rice’s request to the American Congress, a specific help in the amount of $75 millions is going to be allocated to the development of programs in order to promote democracy in Iran, by encouraging students exchange programs and a help to broadcast programs in Persian language.

The State Department also announced that it was going to endow a «direction of the Iranian matters» and create a dozen of diplomat positions, specialized on Iran and speaking Persian (Farsi). Among those 10 new diplomats, one will be at the direction of the Human rights and eight others in countries possessing a strong Iranian Diaspora.

Very strangely, the Americans contacted Iranian «students» that were members of a pro khomeynist militia kindly named «union for the understanding of Coranic schools and universities». Just as Shirin Ebadi do, they use a «moderate Islamic language», but it seems that the Americans have little knowledge of Islam and are unaware of Islam being a religion to govern. They continue then to promote Islamic democracies hoping that educating the Islamic will return them democrats by exercising governance.

One of the rare «advantages» of the Islamic republic instauration in Iran, was that it made the Iranian people of all generations realized the incompatibility of Islam with modernity. The others «advantages» are the brutal end of political innocence and blind belief in the wisdom of the «Iranian intellectuals». The Iranians suffered and suffer again but they learned to read and not to let others read for them and like oracles or Pythies to dictate them what to do.

The consequence of this awakening is a great lucidity and a total disavowal of the «left intellectuals» that supported Khomeyni and hid themselves behind pitiful alibis; let’s remember that these left intellectuals, ancestors of the Marxist islamics overwhelmingly supported Khomeyni. They supported him until 1983 before fleeing to the West for a better life far from Iranian worries. The Iranians lost by thousands their children during the war and they never received a word of apology from them, these intellectuals sailing between left and Islam in the lonely aim to be able to exercise a bit of power.

It is therefore extremely shocking to note that the Americans do not give any attention to the evolution of the Iranian and continue to seek the cooperation of the Islamic revolution’s companions of 1979. It is shocking to hear Ms Rice to talk about students exchange programs and broadcast programs in Persian.

We know very well these students and their curricula and if the USA do not want any change in Iran, this may be the best policy to adopt, because these «students», «Human rights activists» (Amir-entezam, Ebadi, Ganji, Kadivar, Baghi, Kar, Tabarzadi, Batebi, Mohammadi Brothers, Fakhr-Aavar…) or «left intellectuals» (Milani – Hoover Inst.-, Shahin Fatemi, Baqer Parham & sons, Jahanbegloo and many others…) as one suggests, are very disliked (even hated for Ganji and Sazgara) by the people. If the West helps them, the people will lose motivation and the resistance will be destroyed. In this case, the people will not trust Democracy.

The trouble is an «undemocratic» approach of your backing. If one gave to the exiled Iranians a powerful and free Television broadcast, our independent politicians (of all free groups) could address to their compatriots of Iran, and America would not need to seek in the Islamic republic’s garbage. The Iranian people is waiting for these speeches and for men and women that will convey them, but the media which would make it possible to propose and diffuse these views to Iran does not exist at this time.

While this media does not exist, America has no other alternative than relying on those few old Iranian politicians without greatness squatting the State Department’s corridors. It is necessary to open free medias to let "the magic of the democracy" operate and let some new leaders appear. Otherwise why gargle with words such as democracy, freedom, rights when you put to the front scene those who helped Khomeini like Ganji, Jahanbegloo, Mehrangiz Kar and Shirin Ebadi did, or too young recruits like Akbar Atri and Trita Parsi?

Forget these «Iranian defenders» of the Humans right of dissident kind. Don’t forget that you applauded without investigating Khatami’s past, this good small soldier of the Islamic revolution who had been the author of the Islamization of the secular Iranian university since its creation in 1934 by Reza Shah.

Still today, you continue the same blind policy with Shirin Ebadi who did not have even one word against the anti-semitism of Ahmadinejad. Do not put her trust in her! She’s a part of that regime, she gave up her function of judge, of free woman, to follow and defend regressive ideas of Khomeyni.

The safety of the West, the safety of the free world is not in to be found in the blurry messages of moderate Muslims, of Muslim dissidents whose only objective is to invite religion in the political process.

The truth doesn’t belong to Akbar Ganji who was himself an intelligence agent of the Revolution’s guards. Human’s rights are not violated because he is in prison. By the way this is to be confirmed, because the mullah’s regime sometimes throws in jail its own agents to absolve them publicly. [Invite you to read our chronicle about Ganji and his mentor.

The human rights are scorned in Iran since « the beginning of the Revolution », but if you look for an internal ally, you can count on the Iranian People. Put your faith in it and provide it men and women who will spread a new message, a secular one inspired by the Iranian hate for the political Islam.

It seems necessary to us, to underscore and repeat once again that one of the rare «advantages» of the Islamic republic instauration in Iran was that Iranians of all generations took conscience of the incompatibility of Islam and the modernity. The others «advantages» are the brutal end of political innocence and blind belief in the wisdom of the «Iranian intellectuals». The consequence of this awakening is a great lucidity and a total disavowal of the «left intellectuals» that supported Khomeyni. To federate and captivate this angry people, please stop the former khomeynists promotion, and you will mobilize all the energy of this people so you will be able to reverse the mullahs.

We need your financial and logistic help only if you do not help those people belonging to another era, those men and women that have been traitors to the Iranian people.

Avoid helping these false heroes who demobilize. False heroes who will tell to the Western media: «if the Iranians don’t move, that’s because they’re well and do not want regime change».

Bill Clinton advisers set up radio and TV programs in persian, with the aim to confirm the concealed support of Clinton to Khatami. Clinton equally softened Amato Lawin’s order to permit European oil companies to resettle in Iran. He also abandoned the authentic Iranian students who wanted to reverse the system and not to soften it…. We doubt the effectiveness of its programs. However these programs still continue and demobilize the Iranians resistance. It is a necessity, Madam, to change these programs, the persons who make them and the tone that they use. The Iranians have absolutely no need for these plain and politically correct debates, without contents and with information recited on a detached tone (inadequate to the current needs of the Iranian resistance). This catastrophic depiction is the one of «Voice of America» or «Radio Farda» (former radio freedom).

The current needs of Iran, are programs of quality, uprising incitation programs, indications of how to disarm the militias and this why we believe that this soft and politically correct messaging appear to us like an homeopathic treatment that we would administer to a cancer patient in his last moments.

Additionally, there’s another danger. If our American friends content themselves with an adaptation of the «orange revolution» to Iranian flavor, they will do nothing but prepare the field for the victory of false opponents, wrongfully secular who collaborated for a long time with the mullahs.

The surface of the system will change, but it will keep its networks and will get back to power under a different appearance. And the Americans will have to face a second Iraq populated by substitutes of Chalabi and Jaafari but with a new and more difficult configuration in Iran. Restricting democracy to elections in a country infected by Islamic, terrorists and gangs is an invitation to anarchy, Madam the Secretary of State!

One of the rare «advantages» of the Islamic republic instauration in Iran was that Iranians of all generations took conscience of the incompatibility of Islam and the modernity.

We respectfully ask you, Madam the Secretary of State, for a change of strategy: forget the politically correct and the guideline of assistance «to the dissidents». Help the opponents: there are 65 millions of them.

If you want to help democracy, help the emergence of a free, fighting, incisive, young media with a new agenda, which take models of new men and women who want to build a unique model.

Not two democracies are identical. So why would there be the same guideline to tackle various dictatorships which are in opposition on all (their history, their ideology, their method): Please Madam The Secretary, do not support the politically correct and the guideline of assistance «to the dissidents».

Avoid helping these false heroes who demobilize !

It is possible to mobilize the people : Iranian people are waiting for it. But at this time, America is contributing –against its own will- to demobilize the legitimate anger of the Iranians by endorsing programs such as «Voice of America» or «Radio Farda». Far from helping democracy, these $75 millions will only help the opponents of the «regime’s change».
